Career Technical Education Collaboration
Attalla City Schools is proud to partner with Etowah County Technical School (ECTS) to expand access to high-quality Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs for all students. Through a joint enrollment agreement, Attalla students have the opportunity to participate in specialized county-level programs such as Advanced Manufacturing and Agriscience, while county students can access Attalla’s signature pathways in Cosmetology and JROTC. This reciprocal partnership removes attendance zone barriers and ensures equitable access to diverse career pathways that prepare students for postsecondary success and the modern workforce. By working collaboratively, both districts maximize program utilization, promote regional equity, and provide hands-on learning experiences that empower every student to explore their interests and build future-ready skills
